Beklenmedik sonuç ise "rağmen" manasına gelen "although" veya "even though" ile belirtilir. |

| "Nevertheless", "however" kelimeleri de "beklenmedik sonuç" bildirir. Ancak bunlar ingilizce gramerinde bağlaç olarak kullanılmazlar. Aralarında nokta olan iki ayrı cümleyi mana olarak birleştirir. |
